India's Foreign Secretary attacks on Pakistan: Said, a Country which does not give up on Terrorism

Foreign Secretary S. Jaishankar said on Thursday that in the context of Pakistan, SAARC is a 'jammed' vehicle, because a country is not connected with seven members of the South Asian regional group on important issues of terrorism.
He also said that unlike the SAARC, the other seven nations are members of the regional group BIMSTEC, who clearly explain the 'broad alliances' and 'similar aspirations'.

This comment from Jaishankar came at a time when India is trying to make the BIMSTEC group of South Asia and South East Asia more relevant to SAARC's alternative.
Jaishankar said, "Neighbors should be connected, but if you look at the vehicle on which all expectations were, then it was SAARC. But the SAARC vehicle has become a bit of a jam on two issues - terrorism and connectivity ... where not all countries are on one page, but in particular one country stands apart from others. However, during this statement, Jaishankar did not take Pakistan's name.
